I'm an experienced educator focused on developing a strong curriculum and constantly evaluating instruction based on student progress and understanding. I have a consistent drive to use technology as a tool to improve learning for teachers and students. I am a consummate collaborator and work with teachers in core subjects to coordinate efforts on projects ranging from three-dimensional modeling and design fair printing to web design and programming concepts.
RecYouth
The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation partners with the Summer Youth Employment Program to pay teens to learn lucrative multimedia skills. Students have free access to audio/video production resources and training. All projects that students work on are related to social awareness and change.
Reach The World
Reach The World is an organization that uses technology and travel as a tool to extend learning beyond the four walls of the classroom. I worked as a Journalist/Educator on Reach The World's voyage along the northwest coast of Africa.
